Top Ten Tuesday| Top New(ish) Series I Want To Start

Untitled design-9
This weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic hosted by Broke and Bookish is The Top Ten New (past two years) Series I Want To Start. The series that are going to be included on my list are going to be those that came out within the last two year and I have not read any books from that series. I want to try and only include series that have more than one book and are in no particular order. I tried to include Young adult, new adult and adult series!
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes
(This is a six book series with only two books published. The first book came out in 2012 and the third book is set to release in December this year. It is a high fantasy, multiple pov series, dealing with kingdoms, magic and power!)
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
(This is set to be a trilogy that deals with a post apocalyptic world in the aftermath of an alien invasion. The first book came out last year and the second book was just recently published.)
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
(This is becoming a very popular fantasy series. It has assassins and a badass female lead! The third book was just recently released and there is also a bind-up of novellas published alongside the three books. I cant believe I haven’t started this series yet.)
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
( This is another series I do not know why I haven’t started yet. It is a YA Sci-fi/Dystopian trilogy that started in 2012 and the last book comes out in about a week. Makes it a perfect trilogy to be able to marathon!)
Splintered by A.G Howard
(You would think being as obsessed as I am with Alice in Wonderland that I would have already started this YA fantasy retelling.  This is another trilogy that is about to be finished and I need it in my life!)
Sweet Trilogy by Wendy Higgins
(This is a paranormal romance trilogy that was just finished earlier this year. I received the whole trilogy in the mail (still not sure who from) and I have heard it is the perfect guilty pleasure trilogy!)
The Others Series by Anne Bishop ( This is a paranormal, urban fantasy series that currently has two books published, Written in Red and Murder of Crows. So many people have said that this is an awesome and unique series that is filled with great characters.)
Age of X by Richelle Mead
(I am a huge fan of Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy series and I am very interested to read some of her adult work. This is one of her more recent adult series, a fantasy, sci-fi that has two books published so far.)
2B Trilogy by Ann Agurrie
(I have really been wanting to pick up some new adult books. This is a recent released trilogy that I am hoping will really get me hooked on the new adult genre!)
Wait For You by J. Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout) (I love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s writing. I really want to read all of her work, but as I just stated I want to get more into New Adult and this series seems like it would be perfect for this! This is set to be a 6 book series)

Have you read any of these series? Which one should I start soon? What new series are you wanting to start?

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-thon | Wrap-up

So I wasn’t able to stay up and last the whole 24hrs, but I am still very proud of how much I accomplished. With my struggles with focus and distraction in daily life I did not think I would be able to read as much as I did. I finished a total of 603 pages, which was […]

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-thon 8 hours in!

I am back for another update! So far 8 hours have gone by in the 24 hr read-a-thon! My reading has slowed a bit from this morning as I find myself getting mildly distracted by many things. I blame my undiagnosed A.D.D for this problem. I have a very short attention span so I took an […]
