My Weekend Is Booked!

With a snow storm in the forecast this weekend, it sets me up for a perfect weekend curled up with all my books! There are many goals I set for myself for this weekend, of course it is all related to books/book community. Because is there really a better way to spend the weekend? I thought I would also do a little check in since it is well over half way through the month!

  • So far I have read 4 books! Out of those 4 books, 2 of them were from my January TBR Pile!
  • 1 of the books was well over 500 pages which qualifies for my Big Book Challenge!
  • This week I completed the 5th book in the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, Keys to the Demon Prison. It was the final book and was my first series completed in 2019!

Blog Plans

I have a lot of work to do with my blog this weekend. One of the biggest things is planning for Fierce Female Reads February. This is a reading/blogging event I am putting together with a ton of other book lovelies! The announcement post is going to be up next week, so look out for it! I also need to do some blog post drafting and scheduling. I have been so busy with work, working out and reading lately that I’ve been falling behind with my posting. My computer has been part of it. Its time for a new one and it takes forever to load. So working on a post takes me far longer than need be. I have quite a few idea written down of posts that I would like to work on!

Reading Plans

My main focus for reading is going to be losing myself into Stain by A.G Howard! This is my most anticipated release of 2019 ! have only made it a little way through and already SO in love with this world and writing. Howard is solidifying the spot as one of my favorite authors!

I’m also currently listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. At this point I am only 30% through it and it is due back to the library. I’m now again #25 on the list, so I will try to listen to as much as I can. I will start another audiobook for while I am working on my blogging. I’ m just not sure which one yet.

Stain is kind of long so it just depends on how much time I dedicate to reading. But after I finish it, I am hoping to start another book from my January TBR. I think it will most likely by Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh. I am buddy reading this book with Colleen @takenbybooks !

The hope is also to take some bookstagram pictures because I will be home to catch the natural lighting. I am trying to post at least one picture a day!

So as you can see a weekend that is totally BOOKED! The ultimate goal is going to be not getting sucked into the streaming services black hole. Instead of turning on the tv, I am going to listen to an audiobook.

What are your weekend plans? What will you be reading? Any exciting things happenings?

Tackling Unread Trilogies

There are many popular trilogies that had their first books published in 2012. It is 7 years later and there are still many I have yet to read. One of my goals this year is to read more of my unread books that have been on my shelves forever. I though starting with some old popular trilogies would […]
