With a snow storm in the forecast this weekend, it sets me up for a perfect weekend curled up with all my books! There are many goals I set for myself for this weekend, of course it is all related to books/book community. Because is there really a better way to spend the weekend? I thought I would also do a little check in since it is well over half way through the month!
I have a lot of work to do with my blog this weekend. One of the biggest things is planning for Fierce Female Reads February. This is a reading/blogging event I am putting together with a ton of other book lovelies! The announcement post is going to be up next week, so look out for it! I also need to do some blog post drafting and scheduling. I have been so busy with work, working out and reading lately that I’ve been falling behind with my posting. My computer has been part of it. Its time for a new one and it takes forever to load. So working on a post takes me far longer than need be. I have quite a few idea written down of posts that I would like to work on!
My main focus for reading is going to be losing myself into Stain by A.G Howard! This is my most anticipated release of 2019 ! have only made it a little way through and already SO in love with this world and writing. Howard is solidifying the spot as one of my favorite authors!
I’m also currently listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. At this point I am only 30% through it and it is due back to the library. I’m now again #25 on the list, so I will try to listen to as much as I can. I will start another audiobook for while I am working on my blogging. I’ m just not sure which one yet.
Stain is kind of long so it just depends on how much time I dedicate to reading. But after I finish it, I am hoping to start another book from my January TBR. I think it will most likely by Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh. I am buddy reading this book with Colleen @takenbybooks !
The hope is also to take some bookstagram pictures because I will be home to catch the natural lighting. I am trying to post at least one picture a day!
So as you can see a weekend that is totally BOOKED! The ultimate goal is going to be not getting sucked into the streaming services black hole. Instead of turning on the tv, I am going to listen to an audiobook.

There were a lot of different goals and challenges that I set out to accomplish in 2018. Some I excelled at and others I came up short. I recently posted about my 2018 Reading Stats and thought it would be fun to also post about reflecting on 2018 goals. On those things I set out to achieve this […]
I believe that 2019 is going to be the year for me when it comes to my blog. I have been blogging for almost 6 years, but the actual blog posting and development was never a main focus for me. It has always been more about the books and the reading, which for me is one of the […]
LEFT DROWNING BY JESSICA PARK Genre: New Adult, Contemporary/Romance Format: Audiobook “This book is for everyone who has survived. You are not broken. You can love and be loved, despite what may feel like the eternally brutal nature of the world. Even when you’re drowning and so far under, there is always time to reach for someone who […]
Publication Date: April 20th 2020 Genre: Paranormal Romance Series: Brimstone INC #1 The Demigod Complex Synopsis: The Montagues and Capulets have nothing on the Canis and Banes wolf packs. The two have been feuding for ages. The brutal murder of the Banes’ alpha only added fuel to the fire. And now there’s only one way to bring peace—the current alphas […]
If you know nothing about the O.W.L.S Readathon you can check out my O.W.L.S Readathon TBR post. I wasn’t able to accomplish as much as I was hoping for this past weekend and week! I had a great start and was hoping that by halfway through the month I would have completed the majority of my subjects. Since […]
It has been a crazy week and a half of April already! If you know nothing about the O.W.L.S Readathon you can check out my O.W.L.S Readathon TBR post. I thought since it has already been 10 days I would do a weekend check in and update of my progress on my O.W.L.S. Wizarding Career Completed Ordinary Wizarding […]
I have been binging the Ice Planet Barbarian Series by Ruby Dixon since July 2019! This series currently has 17 books and I am on book 14. I started these kind of as a joke and had heard about them within the book community. I’ve quickly become obsessed with this series. I have been listening to these on […]
There are many popular trilogies that had their first books published in 2012. It is 7 years later and there are still many I have yet to read. One of my goals this year is to read more of my unread books that have been on my shelves forever. I though starting with some old popular trilogies would […]
