January 2016 TBR

DECEMBER-3
With a new year comes loads of new reading goals and challenges. I want to start the year off strong and get to some books that have been on my shelves too long! This is a very ambitious list, but these are all the books I have been wanting to read and I am sure it will change. Also soon to come is my TBR for Bout of Books 15

This is the novella to Crownover’s new series Saints of Denver. I will be reading this with Samantha @ The Rambling Book Junkie.
Built by Jay Crownover
This is the first book in the Saints of Denver series and also the January pick for Rambling Down The Book Hole Book Club that I run alongside Samantha!
Crown of Embers by Rae Carson
I picked up The Girl of Fire and Thorns in November and was planning on binging the whole trilogy. I did not quite get around to that, but I want to continue with this trilogy and finish this series towards my series reads goals!
The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
I have been wanting to read something by Sanderson so bad. What a better time to pick it up and read it. I am participating in a read-a-long for this book as well with some fabulous people on twitter!
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
I have really been missing the Vampire Academy world and Mead’s writing. With her new series starting this year I want to get into more of her books!
The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan
I have been really wanting to get into more adult books and specifically historical fiction. I also wanted to read more award winning books this year and this one jumped out at me.

What books are you planning on reading in January?
