New Holiday Movie Reviews | Blogmas 2021

I first posted New Holiday Movie Reviews a few years ago when Netflix was killing it and releasing a ton of original holiday movies. So since I openly share my thoughts on books, it felt right to share my thoughts on the holiday movies released in the year. Last year the there were a ton of streaming services that stepped up their game, check out my New Holiday Movie Reviews from 2020  There were so many that came out this year with some hits and some misses!

8-Bit Christmas

4.5/5

This was a funny movie that reminded me of a more modern day A Christmas Story (since it was based in the 80s its not modern, but not as old as the 40s) Definitely a fun movie for the whole family.

Single All The Way

5/5

This movie is by far my favorite of this holiday season! It was cute and had the crazy family drama that happens around the holiday season. Let me not forget that Jennifer Coolidge is just perfection!

Home sweet home alone

3/5

This doesn’t hold a light to the original movies. I did like the twist of them not being the “bad guys”. But it was so similar to the original, that it was just okay.

The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star

3/5

I don’t know why I expected more from this. Similar to the previous 2 movies it focuses on a relationship and them all switching. It was entertaining enough that I slightly paid attention to it.

Father Christmas Is Back

2/5

This was like a typical family Christmas drama that is set in England. I found it to be quite boring.

A Castle for Christmas

2/5

I know lots of people like this, but I just could not get into it. I did enjoy the setting, I want to go to Scotland so bad. I also loved the knitting club from the pub! What I would give to live in a castle!
